Last month, LRS Healthcare gathered, safely, to celebrate 15 years in the travel healthcare industry. Throughout the challenges that companies faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, LRS Healthcare continued to thrive during 2020 and increased internal staff by 57%, a growth we project to see throughout 2021 as well.
The events throughout the day to celebrate our 15-year anniversary were planned with both our “in-office” employees and “work from home” employees
in mind with a virtual champagne toast hosted on live stream. Shortly following the livestream, in-office employees enjoyed a socially-distant luncheon while “work from home”: employees were able to order delivery from the safety of their homes. Throughout the day, employees enjoyed the beginning of March Madness on TVs around the entire office space and participated in contests that would run the length of the March Madness tournament.
While planning for the 15-year anniversary celebration, LRS Healthcare partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands. In theme with the March Madness tournament, LRS Healthcare employees donated basketballs that were collected in our breakroom to support the children of the Boys & Girls Club. LRS takes pride in empowering others to do what’s necessary to make a positive difference not just in the healthcare staffing industry, but the communities they serve.
LRS and its employees are excited and proud to come together to support the community. “If COVID has taught us anything, it’s the importance of adapting, celebrating small victories, and not overlooking milestones despite the current challenges,” said Steve Lawrence, President and CEO. “Recognition is crucial to protecting and building a positive work environment, and we can absolutely find ways to celebrate safely. We just have to get creative and be open to new things.”
Thank you again to the Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands for being a part of our special day. LRS Healthcare is proud to celebrate our last 15 years of success and we look forward to being a leader in the travel healthcare industry for years to come.
