2022 in a Glimpse: Our Best Year Yet

Can you believe it’s already 2023? At times the days may indeed feel as if they blur together, but that’s why we choose to slow down and reflect. No year is perfect, but it’s important to celebrate the successes rather than moving on to “what’s next?”. Gratitude is an immense feeling that we can only try to put into words.

Cheers to our internal employees, caregivers, and clients with whom we had the privilege to work with! Thank you for your endless support as we attempt to highlight the overwhelming growth we have encountered throughout 2022.



Looking Inward

Our headquarters, located in Omaha, has become increasingly busy but that’s how we like it! In 2022, we grew our internal headcount across all departments by 31%! To keep up with new hires, we have launched an online learning platform and are continuously expanding our employee development programs. Our Operations team has worked hard to process tens of thousands of traveler timecards, applications, invoices, and traveler experience requests, while drastically expanding our footprint and boosting our social media following base.

We also launched our first Internship Program last summer! Intern roles have allowed us to extend post-graduation offers, attend career fairs, and learn more about what the current generation wants from an employer regarding learning experiences, values, and more.

Celebrating the things that happen behind the scenes allows us to recognize that each role within our company has a tremendous impact on our business. We work together toward one common goal and support each other along the way. Recognition goes a long way as well in reminding us of our purpose and goals. In 2022, LRS Healthcare was:

Work/life balance is essential for each of us to be the most successful versions of ourselves. We always take the time to celebrate our individual and company success stories through inclusive company and community events. Whether that’s hosting food trucks during the summer, putting on sand volleyball and bowling tournaments, taking in a baseball game, enjoying holiday festivities, or bringing in breakfast to thank our employees. We believe in the importance of having mental breaks during the workday, meeting people from across the company, and even taking a half day for some sweaty, sandy fun.



Our Travelers, Our Biggest Supporters

It’s no easy feat to progress with the weight of uncertainty that we’ve all experienced over the last few years. Positivity, drive, and inspiration have only pushed us harder to meet you where you are.

You have sacrificed so much to lend a hand to facilities in desperate need of help. Because of this, we have worked to simplify your job search and onboarding process. As a result, we have brought salary ranges to our job board and released our latest innovation, a new app for our travelers. In fact, we are thrilled to share our latest milestone, more than 1500 downloads for the LRS Connect app in under 30 days!

Listening to your feedback and making changes that support your expectations, is just one way that we build those trustworthy relationships. You can now update your personal and professional information, submit timecards, and interact with your recruiter 24/7 all within the app.

We didn’t just stop there though. In 2022, we launched a new automation software that has helped us improve data accuracy and our staffing processes, upgraded our website chatbot, streamlined traveler and candidate communication with the implementation of a new messaging software, and more!

Data is a key component when it comes to analyzing where we stand across divisions and as a company. It tells a story and provides something we can learn from. We’re humbled to have seen advancements in every area of our business over the past year and are excited to keep up the momentum in 2023!

With tremendous traveler growth, we’ve introduced a few surveys to keep tabs on how we’re doing and to better understand our travelers, what’s working, and what’s not. Thanks to the responses we have received, we are continuously seeing positive increases in feedback, and improving along the way!



Redefining the Meaning of Community

Community involvement represents one of our core values, “We Care”. We are endlessly striving to better ourselves individually and as a company, by extending our intentions into the soul of our community and across the nation.

Here are some of the many incredible things that we accomplished in 2022:

• Volunteered 70 hours to help clean up parks in Omaha.
• Volunteered 120 hours to help Completely Kids with their summer meals program.
• Rallied our travelers and internal employees on social media and donated more than $5000 to Heart to Heart International to support their efforts with refugees from Ukraine.
• Employees donated more than $10,000 and 85 hours to help 21 families through the Heartland Hope Mission’s Adopt a Family program.
• Financially supported a variety of non-profit organizations including Make-A-Wish of Nebraska, Heartland Pride, Omaha North High School Foundation, Completely Kids, Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands, Table Grace, The American Heart Association, The Kim Foundation, and more.

The meaning of community doesn’t necessarily have to mean our city though. Our healthcare travelers and the clients that we work with have built what’s known as the LRS Community. We continue to grow this community by attending conferences with meet-up opportunities such as TravCon as well as simply taking the time to travel to facilities and build that personal connection with clients and meet our healthcare travelers in person. These experiences and long-lasting relationships are worth nurturing to us, and this is how we continue to deliver on our promises.


Gearing Up for 2023

Every company wants to achieve new success year after year. To us, it’s all about the working parts behind the numbers. The truth is, we wouldn’t be where we are today without our internal team and our biggest supporters, those who choose to work and grow with us.

With each experience we take on whether that’s a new goal, innovation, or perhaps even a setback, LRS Healthcare has continued to strengthen.
