The legendary conference will take place at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas September 18-21. Continued Education
There will be over 40 sessions with endless opportunities to learn from a variety of experts in the travel healthcare industry. Sessions will take place on Monday, the 19th starting from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Tuesday the 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Stop by the resume center from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Monday as well as 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday to update your resume with help from some industry experts!
Update your certs
Are any of your certifications expiring soon? Good news, you can renew them at the conference! Be sure to register ahead of time if you plan to update any of your certifications while you are there! The following certifications are offered during sessions on Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- AHA HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- AHA HeartCode Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Cert (Fetal Heart Monitoring)
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (CPI)
Although, if you register for any of the certifications keep in mind that the first portion must be completed beforehand, and parts 2 and 3 will be skills sessions that are completed at the conference.
Did you know TravCon has Allied sessions?

After Party
Last but not least, you won’t want to miss the legendary afterparty at Drai’s Nightclub Tuesday night! Not to mention that the whole rooftop is rented out just for TravCon. There will be a live DJ, an open bar and is a great opportunity to celebrate the end of the conference with all your new friends!
When in Vegas…
In between sessions head up to the observation deck from the top of the Eiffel tower for some breathtaking views of the city, or visit the Paris Soleil rooftop pool for some extra R and R. Don’t forget about the Chateau Nightclub that is in the Paris Hotel. The iconic nightclub is right in the hotel, you don’t even have to leave! Although, if you’re looking for some adventure head to the LINQ Promenade and, jump on the High Roller observation wheel for incredible views (with an indoor bar) from 550 ft. high, or zipline through the Las Vegas strip at 35 mph. When in doubt there are casinos everywhere, tons of shopping and plenty of Cirque du Soleil and magic shows to see.
Extend your trip and see a Cirque du Soleil show, attend one of the David Copperfield magic shows at the MGM Grand, see Sam Hunt live in concert, or check out the IHeartRadio Music Festival. Why not take a little extra time to fully see all that Las Vegas has to offer?
