May 2025 - Allied Traveler Pair of the Month, Mandee & Meagan

"Traveling friends, Mandee and Meagan, are lab workers with 8.5 years of travel experience between them. They’ve, collectively, worked in 8 different states and set foot in many, many others over the years.
Mandee is a phlebotomist with a deep passion for patient care. She brings energy and comradery to the teams she works with. Patients adore her and it’s common for her to be, specifically, requested by patients for their draws. Not every phlebotomist can make friends with patients; only the best.

Meagan is an MLT with such extensive and diverse experience that it would be difficult to find something she hasn’t done before. She brings this wealth of knowledge to each assignment and is able to blend with her teams much faster than most. She could probably train and orient herself if she needed to and would do it with a smile too.

Most recently, Mandee and Meagan have spent 6 months working outside of Boston. The memories will last much longer!"

May 2025 - Nursing Traveler of the Month, Brian

"This fall marks three incredible years of working alongside Brian — and what an amazing journey it’s been! From his very first assignment with us to today, Brian has consistently gone above and beyond in every role he’s taken on.
He’s worked at two different hospitals during his time with us and has chosen to extend 10 times — a clear reflection of not only his dedication, but the impact he makes wherever he goes. His patients love him, his coworkers respect him, and we’re constantly impressed by his strong work ethic and professionalism.

Brian is the kind of nurse who leads with compassion, shows up with a positive attitude, and gives 110% to every shift. Whether he’s stepping up in high-pressure situations or mentoring newer staff, he always brings calm, confidence, and kindness to the unit.
Simply put — Brian is a joy to work with. We’re incredibly grateful to have him on our team and can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings! Thank you for being you! It's an honor to work with you."

"Michelle has been traveling with LRS for many years, and every location she has been to has loved having her! She not only has a great personality and joyful demeanor but her work ethic and professionalism are second to none. All too often in the hospital settings we hear about departments or divisions not working together but Michelle has had call outs on several different occasions from nurses and leadership about how she reaches across lines to help get the job done. She is forward focused and understands the importance of what she does and who it impacts. Even in times in which “life” happens, Michelle always remains calm and dedicated to the care she provides. She understands that even though she may be in the lab and not on the floor, she still can make a positive impact on many lives. Outside of her work though, the most important thing to note about Michelle is she is a mother who speaks of her kids with love and excitement every chance she gets, and these travel opportunities have afforded her a lot of opportunity to give back to her family.”

"Marisa is a MLT with several years of travel experience under her belt and is the perfect example of what a traveler should be. Marisa is always solution and patient care focused, and just a pure joy to work with. The best part about Marisa is her care for the profession. She travels with the intention of being dependable and accountable to the patients in her care. Marisa has a growth mentality and is always seeking out feedback so she can perfect her skills in the profession. She is a selfless individual who is always willing to help her coworkers and the facility. She is also an adventurer who embraces the lifestyle of a traveler with an open heart, seeking out the nearest trail, campsite, or natural wonder alongside her cat Jasper. Like anyone, we are only as good as the support systems we have in place and Jasper is her travel buddy who is there for her on every assignment. The joy they both share for the adventure keeps Marisa pushing on to the next assignment."
